Getting Rid of Pesticide Residue on Fruits

Pesticide Residue is a concern for most of us watching our diet. We are not sure what these residue in our food could bring about in the long run, while we saw reports showing the content is quite high in our product bought from the store.
This study, Effectiveness of Commercial and Homemade Washing Agents in Removing Pesticide Residues on and in Apples https://pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acs.jafc.7b03118#/doi/suppl/10.1021/acs.jafc.7b03118 made a good sharing for us to follow at home.
Using 1% baking soda solution to wash fruits for more than 8 minute, appeared to be helpful to reduce pesticide residue on apple.
